What does Jumbo Affiliates do?
Jumbo Affiliates is an Affiliate Network. We act as an intermediary between merchants (website operators) and affiliates (website marketers). We recruit affiliates to promote merchant websites and handle all the associated transaction tracking and commission distribution using our proprietary affiliate tracking technology.

Promoting other websites in exchange for affiliate commissions is a great way webmasters to earn additional income.

Do I need to have a website to join as an affiliate?
Yes. In order to become an affiliate member you MUST operate your own website, membership applications which do not list a website that you own/operate will be rejected.

How do I join Jumbo Affiliates?
Joining Jumbo Affiliates is easy! Simply register your details via our Affiliate Application and we will review your application within 24 hours, if approved you will then be sent an email confirming your acceptance and provided with access to the Affiliate console.

What is the Affiliate console?
The Affiliate console is a password protected administration area where affiliates can login and view statistics of their promotions, manage payment details, view Jumbo Affiliates news and join new affiliate programs.

How do I place banners on my website?
To place banners & links on your website:

  1. Login to the Affiliate Console
  2. Go to the tab titled "Banners & Links"
  3. Select the program's banners you wish to use
  4. You will now be displayed a list of banners and tracking codes
  5. Copy and paste the tracking code provided into the source of your webpage (HTML)

How do I check on my referrals and commissions earned?
To view all your referrals and commissions earned simply log-in to the affiliate console and select the "Affiliate Programs > Summary" tab. This will list all programs you currently have active and show a breakdown on sales, clicks and commissions.

When do I receive commissions?
Commissions are paid once a month assuming the balance payable is greater than $50 - if commissions owed are below this; payment is deferred until commissions reach the $50 minimum payment threshold.

Payments are made between the 7th and 10th of each month for commissions earned in the prior month.

The status of past and pending payments can be viewed from the "Financial > History" tab of the Affiliate console.

How do affiliates get paid?
Affiliates currently can opt to be paid via the following methods:

Affiliates can select their preferred payment method upon joining Jumbo Affiliates and can make changes to their selection from within the Affiliate console via the "Financial > Payment Details" tab.

Do I need approval to join each affiliate program?
In some instances, the merchant and/or Jumbo Affiliates will need to authorize your website prior to promoting certain programs. In instances where approval is necessary the approval process usually takes no more than 24-48 hours.

I am not based in Australia, can I become an affiliate?
Yes. You are welcome to apply to become an affiliate no matter what country you are based providing the payment methods we operate via are compatible in your jurisdiction.

Can I include affiliate links & banners in emails and newsletters?
You are permitted to include merchant links in emails and newsletters permitting that you have prior permission from the recipients that they wish to receive communications from you. Any affiliates found to be promoting via Unsolicited email or SPAM will be immediately terminated and forfeit any outstanding commissions.

What are trailing commissions?
Some affiliate programs may elect to pay commissions longer than the initial referral cookie life on a per customer basis, if they have alternate tracking mechanisms in place approved by Jumbo Affiliates.

If an affiliate program says it pays trailing commissions for "Customer Life" or "X" period of time, it means the affiliate will be paid a commission on all transactions made by the customer at the merchant's website for the specified period as long as the affiliate is an approved user of the Jumbo Affiliates service and that affiliate program.

If an affiliate ceases being an approved user of the Jumbo Affiliates service or that affiliate program all trailing commissions cease as per the Jumbo Affiliates Terms & Conditions.

Merchants who operate affiliate programs reserve the right to ammend the period and rate paid on all trailing commissions.

How can I join as a Merchant and begin promoting my website?
To begin setting up your affiliate program simply fill in our contact form with your website and contact details. We will then send you further information about your program as well as steps to get you up and running.

Once we have approved your campaign you will have access to our network where you can simply upload your banners & text links and begin recruiting affiliates.

How soon is my Affiliate Program activated?
Affiliate programs are typically approved within 24 hours. Once we have approved your program we will email you confirmation along with your login details to the Merchant console where all aspects of your affiliate program can be managed (Banners, commission rates, statistics etc).

How does Jumbo Affiliates track sales?
All transactions are tracked using Jumbo Affiliates proprietary affiliate tracking technology. As a merchant you will be required to place a small piece of code (tracking pixel) on your sales confirmation page which communicates with our tracking software upon each successful affiliate transaction - we take care of the rest.

How much control do I have over my Affiliate program?
Merchants have full control of their campaign and can change configuration details such as commission rates, program descriptions and creative at any time via the Merchant administration console.

What material can I use for my advertisements?
Our affiliate program is very flexible and allows you to use a wide range of image tools. You can organize your banners into different campaigns to allow a wider range of promotional materials.

What banner sizes can I use for my program?
You may use any sized banner and unlimited quantities with your Affiliate program. However the standard and most common sizes used include (dimensions width by height):

How do I decide what commission rate Affiliates should be paid?
The affiliate commission rate is totally up to you. Obviously the higher the commission rate you set, the more enticing your program is to affiliate partners.

What reporting tools and statistical information does Jumbo Affiliates provide?
The Merchant administration console gives merchants access to advanced reporting tools including a complete range of statistics to help you manage your campaigns. Merchants can also download reports into Excel compatible files to allow for deeper analysis on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis.

How does Jumbo Affiliate Marketing prevent fraudulent affiliate websites?
Jumbo Affiliates has a software fraud control system, which monitors all affiliate's sites constantly, including false registration. Jumbo Affiliates staff will verify all sites for legitimacy to give you peace of mind that your program will be fraud free.

What costs are involved in becoming a merchant?
